The New York Friar Society (Independent Legacy Community)

1. Nature of the Community
The New York Friar Society (the "Site") is an independently operated online community and social platform. This entity is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way connected to AIAC Puerto Rico Holdings, Kairos Investment Management, or the original Friars National Association Inc. Users acknowledge that this is an unofficial legacy group and does not represent the physical "Friars Club" or its current trademark owners.

2. Intellectual Property Notice
All trademarks, service marks, and trade names (including "The Friars Club") referenced on this Site are the property of their respective owners. The Site makes no claim of ownership over the historical intellectual property of the Friars Club. Any historical media or memorabilia shared by users is for educational and nostalgic purposes only.

3. Limitation of Liability for Social Gatherings
The Site provides a platform for members to organize and attend social gatherings. By participating, you agree to the following:

  • Assumption of Risk: You voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to illness or personal injury at any in-person event.

  • No Liability: The New York Friar Society, its organizers, and its affiliates shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or injuries resulting from your attendance at social events organized via the Site.

  • Member Conduct: You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members. We reserve the right to revoke membership for conduct that is deemed harassment or a violation of community standards.

4. No Guarantee of Service: This community is provided on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee the continued operation of the Site and are not responsible for any loss of data or communication between members.

5. Third-Party Links and Services: The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services

(such as ticket platforms or venues) that are not owned or controlled by us. We assume no responsibility for the content or practices of any third-party sites.

6. Modifications: We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the Site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
