The New York Friar Society is committed to theater equity and true accessibility, operating as a nomadic, building-free foundation to ensure that the brilliance of the New York stage belongs to every New Yorker, regardless of age, zip code, or physical mobility. Rather than a traditional "lone check" approach, we channel 100% of our collective resources, creative power, and social capital into direct impact—removing the physical and social walls that stand between our most vulnerable neighbors and the transformative power of live performance.
